Vincenzo Montella has announced his 23-man Milan squad to face Cagliari today. This is Milan’s first Serie A fixture at the San Siro this season and I Rossoneri have already hit the ground running with a 3-0 drubbing of Crotone last week.

New signing Nikola Kalinić makes the squad while Lucas Biglia also returns to the fold after being sidelined due to a muscular injury since his transfer from Lazio. Patrick Cutrone’s breathtaking performances so far has kept him in the first team mould.

As usual, the transfer-listed players have all been left out, namely, Gabriel Paletta, M’Baye Niang, Gustavo Gómez and José Sosa. Josè Mauri has also been left out owing to his poor performance in Milan’s Europa League victory over Shkëndija while 17-year-old centre-back Matteo Gabbia earned a call-up to the first-team after his impressive performances for the Milan Primavera (Milan U-19s).

Full Squad: Gianluigi Donnarumma, Antonio Donnarumma, Marco Storari, Leonardo Bonucci, Ignazio Abate, Luca Antonelli, Davide Calabria, Andrea Conti, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodríguez, Alessio Romagnoli, Cristián Zapata, Lucas Biglia, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Matteo Gabbia, Franck Kessié, Manuel Locatelli, Riccardo Montolivo, André Silva, Fabio Borini, Patrick Cutrone, Nikola Kalinić, Suso.
