Ronaldo’s tryst with strange commercial partnership continues.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who has lent his name to many weird and wonderful products over the years, tweeted a tweet for an Egyptian steel-making company on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old Real Madrid star may just have struck his strangest commercial partnership to date with a ringing endorsement of the Egyptian steel production industry.
Cristiano Ronaldo has done some really strange acts for some extra dollars. From underpants to electric stomach-toning pads to utterly bizarre Japanese “facial fitness” devices, he has done it all.
He was a part of a controversial PokerStars advertisement too, where he can be seen playing poker for PokerStars against Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul (who sadly doesn’t drop a single “Yeah, b—-!” on him at any point).
Ronaldo, who shared a promotional video across his various social media channels to commend Egyptian Steel, can be seen touring a steel factory in that video. Towards the end of the video Ronaldo tries to tell us something in Arabic presumably meant to reassure us that, should we need high-grade commercial steel made in an environmentally-friendly way, Egyptian Steel is the right choice to opt for.
