Haitian ace reconsidering his future with Mohun Bagan
Haitian play maker Sony Norde is close to re-joining Mohun Bagan.
Sony Norde, who had offers from various franchisees of Indian Super League, has been finally convinced by the Mohun Bagan officials to play for the ‘Sabuj-Merun’ for a fourth straight season.
The details of the contract are being worked out and a deal is expected to be signed in next few days, sources close to Lntup have confirmed.
Sony Norde, who helped the Mariners in clinching the I-League in his very first season at Bagan, has been immensely popular among the Indian football supporters. The next season, Bagan rode Sony’s good form to the Federation Cup title and the Mariners will be banking on the Haitian starlet to reclaim the I-League.
Sony Norde, who formed a deadly midfield combination along with Katsumi Yusa, is expected to join Bagan in October, before Bagan’s I-League preparation gets underway.
