Diego Costa transfer saga getting dramatic day by day
The relation between Spanish goal machine Diego Costa and his current club is getiing worse day by day. At the end of the last season, Costa revealed that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte had messaged him to inform him that he is no longer necessary for the club.
After some days of this incident, speculations increased that, Costa may make his move back to Atletico Madrid. Morata’s arrival to the London based side confirmed that the Spaniard is no more in the scheme of things of the Italian manager.
But after Chelsea’s loss in the first match of the Premier League to Burnley, reports claimed that Chelsea board have said Conte to bring back Costa and clear all issues with him. The saga took a huge dramatic move when in an interview in Brazil, Diego revealed that he will not return to Chelsea and will move to Atletico next year (Atletico madrid are currently banned from any kind of transfer activity till January of next year).
After that, Chelsea can fine their fiery rebel £300,000 every fortnight for the unauthorised absence. However, Los Rojiblancos captain Gabi told Costa to respect Chelsea and go back there. Chelsea are currently also fearing to face a loss of 20M as their 50M labelled star will reportedly accept a 30M move to Madrid next year.
The saga may take a lot of time to complete and if Costa moves to Simeone’s side next year, then the transfer would surely be considered as one of the most controversial and enfuriated transfers of all time.
