Watford vs Liverpool : Match Preview
The Reds start off their Premier League campaign with a visit to Vicarage Road.
With all the current speculations about Philippe Coutinho moving away from Liverpool, the main topic will be the Brazilian but unfortunately he will not be available due to a back problem.
The Reds have won each of their last four curtain-raising fixtures to a Premier League campaign, having previously gone four without victory, while their opponents are seeking maximum points on matchday one for the first time in five attempts. So both teams will be focused to get a good start to their League campaign.

The Hornets have not changed the team very much in comparison to the last season. One of the star men Odion Ighalo left them in January, while the core of the squad is still there featuring Troy Deeney in the final third.
Marco Silva’s work can be instantly recognizes as the team played super tight defensive football in pre-season. Watford kept four consecutive clean sheets in matches with Viktoria Plzen, Eibar, Aston Villa and Real Sociedad.
Watford skipper Troy Deeney is doubtful with a groin injury and clu-record signing Gray will lead the attack for the Hornets. Roberto Pereyra may be back after an lenghty spell on the sidelines and new signings Richardlison and Will HUghes are likely to start.
Klopp can be very satisfied with his team’s performance in preseason. Performances in the the Audi Cup were exceptional especially against Bayern as the Reds destroyed the German champions 0-3 in Allianz Arena.
Their last match before the start of this season’s League campaign was against Athletic Bilbao, and the Reds did not fail to impress. They snatched a 3-1 win against the Spanish side with goals from Solanke, Firmino and Woodburn.
Adam Lallana is set to be sidelined for atleast three moths after he injured his thigh during pre season. Sturridge and Henderson also have slight knocks but are ready to feature.
Coutinho is set to miss out on a back strain and speculations are biginning to mount on his move to Barcelona. Nathaniel Clyne will also be missing from Liverpool’s defence and Alexander-Arnorld and Joe Gomez are ready to battle for a spot in the starting XI.
