Inter are keen to sign Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich
Inter Milan eyeing Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal as summer’s big signing. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan are hoping to add the 30-year-old midfielder after their attempts to move for AS Roma’s Radja Nainggolan and RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita were turned away.
Vidal has been repeatedly linked with leaving Bayern Munich this summer, with Arsenal, Inter and Manchester United mooted as potential destinations.
Inter Milan have done a decent job to strengthen their side during the summer with the arrival of players such as Borja Valero and Matias Vecino.
However, the Serie A side is not done yet. And they are reportedly looking at one of the best defensive midfielders in the world to become their marquee signing of the summer.Vidal moved to Munich from Juventus in July 2015 for a fee of €37m on a four-year contract.Vidal has won two Bundesliga titles since joining Bayern Munich and is touted as one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the world.
The Chilean international said he does not know anything about a potential move and Carlo Ancelotti said his star midfielder “is not going anywhere”. But if Vidal can force the move in an attempt to make an Italy return, then nothing would stand in the way of Inter to acquire the former Juve star.
Inter have not yet managed to convince Bayern Munich to sell Vidal, but are set to try again soon and could go to between €50m and €60m to get their man.
