The 23-year-old Neroca FC defensive midfielder, who came through the academy and youth set-up of ECU Joondalup Soccer Club and played for senior English side Burnley, has started training with the newly promoted I-League outfit Neroca FC.

The club had earlier announced that Australian defensive midfield starlet Aryn Williams will join them in their training in July. The club also confirmed that they’ll take a call on his participation with the squad after the training stint gets over.

Williams is a highly versatile player, holding the ability to play as a centre-back, if required. The dynamic midfielder has played with Burnley in the English Championship, which gave him vast and invaluable experience.

Aryn Glen Williams (born 28 October 1993) last played for Perth Glory in the A-League as a centre back. Born in Perth, Australia, Williams’ mother originates from Mumbai, India and his father hails from Kent, England. Williams’ older brother Rhys and twin brother Ryan are professional footballers too. The William brothers started their career at ECU Joondalup Soccer Club before moving to England.

In the post on a social media platform, Neroca FC announced, ‘Neroca FC is happy to inform you that Aryn Williams an Australian Footballer will be joining us for training in July. It is a good opportunity for us to see a high-level player in training after which we will take a call on if he will be part of the squad for the I-League 2017-18.

Neroca boosted the morale of Williams saying that he’s a high-quality player and will add to the strength of the side.

Neroca FC lost just one match in the second division this season to claim the first place in the second division and bag the premium rights to dine with the best clubs in India.
