India U17 team to start their journey in Quadrangular tournament in Mexico tomorrow
The Indian U17 team is on a tour of Mexico for preparations ahead of the much awaited FIFA U17 World Cup in their home soil. The boys under Luis Norton de Matos want to keep no stone unturned in their preparations as the colts will cross swords with hosts Mexico.
The Indian U-17 World Cup Squad will lock horns against Mexico U-17s in the first match of the Torneo de 4 Naciones Tournament at Centro de Alto Rendimiento in Mexico City, Mexico tomorrow (August 03, 2017). The kick-off for which is slated for 8:30 PM IST.
The Tournament which features four teams including India will see the Indian Colts square off against the U-17 Teams of Mexico, Colombia and Chile. The Indian U-17 World Cup Squad will be locking horns against Mexico on August 03 before facing Colombia on August 04 and Chile on August 06.
As part of All India Football Federation’s efforts to field a strong team in the first ever FIFA World Cup to be hosted by India, the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 India, AIFF has provided the Indian U-17 World Cup Squad with exposure trips.
The Indian Colts were given an exposure trip of Europe wherein they faced Club and National Teams. With less than 100 days to go for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 India, the AIFF is leaving no stone unturned to provide maximum exposure to the Indian U-17 World Cup Team.
India has been drawn in Group A of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 India alongwith USA, Colombia and Ghana. The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 India kicks-off on October 06, 2017.
