German side Borussia Dortmund to fund Dario Scuderi in his further studies as injured lad hope to revamp his career.

Great gesture from the DFB Pokal Champions as they have offered to fund the studies of youth player Dario Scuderi as injured player wants to study Sports Management.

Dario Scuderi (19), primarily a right-back has been out of action since suffering a career threatening left-knee break against Legia Warsaw in a UEFA Youth League encounter last September. Since then the Italian couldn’t return to the field and it also remains to be seen if he ever can.

After just 18 minutes into the game against Legia Warsaw, Dario Scuderi picked up one of the most horrific injuries football fans ever witnessed and was immediately stretched-off the field.

After the injury Scuderi’s Surgeon Professor Michael Strobel said –

“It is(was) the worst injury you could possibly imagine,”. “Pretty much everything tore: the ligaments, all the muscle and tendons.”

Young Prodigy Scuderi won 2 youth Bundesliga titles with Dortmund youth team (14-15 and 15-16) and also started the 2016-17 season brilliantly scoring 1 goal and assisting 2 more in 5 matches and reports claim he was also liked by former BVB boss Thomas Tuchel and could have been selected in the main team also.

Now Dario Scuderi uncertain about his footballing career looks to revamp himself and study Sports Management and according to leading german sports magazine Kicker, Dortmund will take all the responsibilities of his bill.
