FPAI backs Abinash Ruidas against East Bengal
The FPAI has extended their support to Abinash Ruidas in his ongoing contract altercation with Kingfisher East Bengal.
Ruidas, who has played for East Bengal and Atletico de Kolkata over the last couple of seasons, was picked up by Mumbai City FC in the ISL 2017 draft. Since then the player has been the subject of a tussle between IFA and AIFF.
However, the Football Players’ Association of India (FPAI), have taken a strong stance against East Bengal, backing 22-year-old’s allegation that the club had replicated his signature to retain him.
We are extending all our support to Avinash Rui Das in his fight against Kingfisher East Bengal Club. Persuasion is Ok manipulation is not

FPAI, who aim to look after the welfare of players and advise them by engaging professionals, however, have no authority in this matter and can only support the player’s claims.
