Dani Alves announced his arrival to Paris with a stunning free-kick as PSG beat Monaco in the French Super Cup.
Trophée des Champions, as the trophy is known as, becomes the 35th silverware in the Brazillian full-back’s cabinet.

The flamboyant defender was the protagonist in the 2-1 victory as he slotted home a 28-metre free-kick with his right foot. The Super Cup triumph moves Alves alongside Kenny Dalglish and Ryan Giggs at the top of the list of players who have won the most number of titles.
Alves won 23 titles with FC Barcelona, 5 with Sevilla, 2 with Juventus, and one each with Esporte Clube Bahia and PSG. He also won three trophies with Brazil national team.
