Naby Keita trying to force Liverpool move by injuring own teammates?
Reports claim Naby Keita was involved in a training ground dispute with teammate Diego Demme on Monday.
Heavily linked Liverpool target Naby Keita seems desperate for a move to Anfield Stadium after today’s training ground dispute with Diego Demme, which subsequently saw training called off, though it’s unclear if the training was near to it’s conclusion and Keita’s tackle wasn’t the real reason behind it.
According to leading German sports news magazine Kicker, the scenario was –
Naby Keita got fouled by teammate Diego Demme during training and the Guinean took that seriously and injured the 25-year-old German by a rash tackle.
Ralph Hassenhuttel hurriedly called-off training and Demme on the ground was seen receiving treatment.
It may seem it’s only a simple training dispute but Naby Keita could be frustrated about the fact that the Bundesliga outfit rejected a £75million bid from Liverpool to keep him. All attempts of the Merseyside based side are failing to sign the midfielder from RB Leipzig, which is quite uncommon for a English Premier League side not being able to sign a player from Bundesliga for money matters.
Chris Bascombe reported yesterday that Liverpool will wait until next summer to activate Keita’s £48 million release clause.
