Austrian star set to become the highest paid player of the Hammers
The Austrian international has completed a move to the Hammers after West Ham struck a deal with their Premier League rivals.
For the better part of the summer, we’ve been on Marko Arnautovic Watch. He’s been one of the Hammers’ top transfer targets ever since talk of transfers started taking over our minds following the end of Premier League. Even as rumors of other players coming and going have occupied our thoughts, the possibility of West Ham signing Arnautovic has almost always been at the top of the list since the summer transfer window officially opened up.
Forward Marko Arnautovic has today agreed to join Premier League rivals @WestHamUtd.

West Ham’s chase to sign the former Werder Bremen midfielder Arnautovic has finally come to an end as Arnautovic has agreed a five-year deal with Slaven Bilic’s side worth around £25M, and is set to become the club’s highest-paid player, as well as become the club’s record signing.
West Ham had previously failed with a two bid for the winger, the first being worth £15M and the second £20m, but have finally got their man as Arnautovic, who scored six and assisted five in 32 league appearances for the Potters last season, has finally agreed terms with West Ham to join the Irons’ bandwagon.

If you are a Premier League fan and you’ve been taking the Hammers lightly till now then this may be the wake up call for you. They may not be the favourites to lift the Premier League but their recent activities in the Premier League does assures us of a top six finish. They have already bolstered their squad by roping in Man City defender Zabaleta and ‘keeper Joe Hart. With Javier Hernandez looking set to complete a West Ham move, it’ll be hard to look past the Hammers finishing in the top half at the very least this coming season.
