Four more Kerala players complete medical ahead of ISL draft

Four footballers from Kerala have completed their medical test ahead of the ISL draft scheduled on 23rd of July.

MP Zakeer, CK Ubaid, Abdul Hakku and Justin Stephen are the four footballers who completed medical test today at Mumbai.

MP ZakeeMP Zakeer featured regularly for Chennaiyin FC in Indian Super League since 2015 season. The midfielder also donned the colours of many top division sides in his career including Mohun Bagan and Churchill Brothers. The 27-year-old from Malappuram was also called up for India U23 in the past.

Justin StepheJustin Stephen is another experienced defender who signed up for ISL draft.

The 29-year-old from Kottayam has donned the colours of DSK Shivajians, Mohammedan Sporting and Mahindra United in the past.

He was also part of Chennaiyin FC Squad in 2015 season.



Abdul Hakku

Abdul Hakku is a highly talented defender who made his name in the I-league second division. The 22-year-old from Kerala is regarded as one of the best prospects in Indian football. The tall defender made his I-league debut for DSK Shivajians against East Bengal. He also featured for Fateh Hyderabad in the last season and his performance for the side has earned him many admirers in the country.



Ubaid CK


Ubaid CK is another footballer from Kerala who is in the draft system. The goalkeeper’s performance under the bar has been outstanding throughout the season.

During his career, he turned out for ONGC and Air India. He was also part of Maharashtra’s Santhosh trophy squad. Ubaid tied his laces for FC Kerala in the recently concluded Kerala Premier League. His performances in Mumbai elite division also earned him the best goalkeeper award.
