Sevilla bolsters the squad by signing the prodigious duo
Sevilla has completed the double swoop for striker Luis Muriel from Sampdoria and midfielder Guido Pizarro from Tigres.
Sevilla has successfully secured the service of Guido Pizarro from Tigres UANL on a 4year deal.
The midfielder has passed his medical and joined the La Liga outfit and is likely to replace Vicente Iborra, who has departed for Leicester City.
Pizarro joined Tigres from Lanus in 2013 and won two Liga MX titles and the Copa MX, but twice he ended up as a runner-up in the CONCACAF Champions League and also suffered defeat in the 2015 Copa Libertadores final.
The 27-year-old has a single cap for Argentina against Bolivia in March and will arrive at the Sanchez Ramon Pizjuan very soon.
Sevilla has also completed the signing of Colombian striker Luis Muriel as he has agreed on a 5-year stay at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for reported €20 million.
The former Udinese forward scored 13 goals and bagged 5 assists for Sampdoria last season, had already played in La Liga when he joined Granada on loan in 2010.

The 26-year has been linked with Inter, Roma and Lazio but has ended up joining the La Liga side.
The Colombian forward has 16 caps for the national team and will be a great addition to Eduardo Berizzo’s side.
So Sevilla new manager Eduardo Berizzo is keen to rebuild the squad ahead of the new season and with the arrival of this duo Sevilla seems to be on the right path.
Guido Pizarro and Luis Muriel becomes their 2nd and 3rd signing of the summer respectively, as they have already re-signed Ever Banega from Inter.
