Bayern Munich to offer huge sum for Real Madrid Superstar?
Bayern Munich are planning for a huge swoop for Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez.
According to reports from Colombia, Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring in Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez to Bayern Munich and according to the report “an offer will be coming over the next few hours.”
Javier Hernandez Bonnet, sports director for Colombia’s Caracol TV, said on Monday that Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to reinforce his side with the Colombian Superstar.
James Rodriguez wasn’t a regular starter for Real Madrid in his whole career with them, he was more of a ‘Super-Sub’ type of player. The previous season he managed to make an overall 31 appearances across all competitions for Los Blancos scoring 11 times and providing 8 assists.
Javier Hernandez Bonnet said:
“James Rodriguez will not stay at Real Madrid. There has been a complete turn of events, he is actually closer to Bayern Munich than to Paris Saint-Germain.”
Bayern were trying to bring in Arsenal talisman Alexis Sanchez previously though they failed to do so, as Sanchez was asking a huge wage (£17.5million) and according to Bayern President Uli Hoeness on Sanchez’s transfer ‘it’s not feasible’.
It won’t be easy for Bayern though as Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United both are chasing the Superstar from Real Madrid. Though the ‘manager-player’ relationship between former Real boss Ancelotti and James may give the Bavarians a slight edge over them.
