Neto was never considered the first choice at Juventus because of the presence of Buffon. But he proved to be a good backup for the Italian. He was at goal for Juventus when they lifted the Coppa Italia after beating Lazio 2-0 in the final in May.
The 27 year old Brazilian just started 10 Serie A matches after joining Juve from Fiorentina.
He departs Turin with a couple of League titles, two Coppa Italias and a Champions League runners medal, as they lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League final last month.

Neto’s move to Valencia occurs, as they have allowed Aussie goalkeeper Mat Ryan to join Premier League newcomers Brighton and Hove Albion and Diego Alves has also been linked with some clubs recently.
So it will be a new challenge for Neto as he will need time to adapt to the new life and atmosphere and he also needs to adjust to the new league. So he will hope that this move to Mestalla brings him a lot of success.
