Camp Nou set to get a make over
Barcelona have received the green light to start their renovation of the Camp Nou stadium.
The Barcelona City Council have approved the project which will amount to €122.3 million in expenditure.
According to MARCA, the renovated Camp Nou will offer 30,000 square meters for a complex of offices, restaurants and a hotel.
Council’s Deputy Mayor, Janet Sanz, explained that they always tried “to guarantee the public interest above anything else”.
The project is expected to receive approval in the upcoming months and the work shall start in June next year.
