Manchester United unveil their new home kit
Manchester United have unveiled their new home kit for the 2017-18 season.
The kit has been designed by adidas and features a new button-up collar design and also marks the return of the black colour.
A statement on United’s official website read:
“The latest home shirt features a minimalist, sophisticated design which pays homage to some of the classic kits from the past, at the same time as being at the forefront of technical sportswear design with technical, breathable fabrics and mesh engineering.”
The kit features an all-new button-up collar offering an elegant design. The adidas three stripes in white on the shoulders and red, white and black sleeves represent the colours of the flags seen at Old Trafford.
Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba, Wayne Rooney and new signing Victor Lindelöf, all modelled the new kit. United will unveil the new strip when they take on LA Galaxy in their pre-season tour on 15th July.
The new kit is available for sale and can be bought online at www.adidas.com and store.manutd.com. It can also be purchased at the adidas official stores and the club shop.
United further confirmed that there is long-sleeved iteration available for sale as well as shirts designed specifically for both women and children.
