Portugal: European Champions Portugal got knocked out by Copa America Champions Chile in the semifinal of Confederations Cup, after unsuccesfully hitting their first 3 penalties in the shootout (Quaresma, Moutinho and Nani) and Chile scoring all 3 of their shots (Vidal, Aranguiz and Sanchez). Now they play for Pride in the 3rd place decider match. Fernando Santos is set to rotate his squad to field some non starters. Talisman Cristiano Ronaldo won’t feature in this one as he left the squad to see his 2 new born babies.

Mexico played out their best but all was in vain, German defense were too strong for them. Carlos Osorio is also set to make some rotations to his squad. Veteran Rafa Marquez may play from the start.
