Paris Saint-Germain unveil their new away kit
Paris Saint-Germain have unveiled their new away kit for the 2017-18 season. The kit has been designed by Nike and pays tribute to the golden generations of Brazil.
A statement on the club’s official website read:
“Brazil won its 3rd world title in 1970. With that achievement, the Brazilian game — bold, technical and innate — was universally considered the best in the world. That same year, Paris Saint Germain was founded, and from its inception, the dream of the club was to integrate the magicians of the seleção into the roster.”

PSG and Brazil centre-back Marquinhos debuted the new kit during a game with kids from the Paris Saint-Germain Academy in São Paulo.
The all-yellow kit features the revolutionary Aeroswift technology with engineered knit zones to facilitate and enhance player’s motion. Its round neckline is punctuated by navy blue, white and red detailing. The word “Paris” is knitted onto the back neck while “Grandeur” and “Passion” are knitted onto the cuff of the sleeve, reflecting on the club’s spirit. The sides of the kit feature a blue stripe that runs the length of the shirt and the yellow shorts as well.
The socks incorporate the Nike Grip technology and feature the word “Paris” on the front in contrasting blue and a distinctive line on the back of the calf.
Through out PSG’s glorious history, Brazil has been well represented with 29 players donning the Red and Blue jersey over the last 50 years, the most represented nation (beside France of course). Current Brazilian players include club captain Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Lucas and Maxwell, who recently announced his retirement.
The new kit is already available to buy online at www.boutiquepsg.Fr and from today onwards, in the official Paris Saint-Germain stores.
