Huddersfield Town permanently sign Aaron Mooy
Huddersfield Town have permanently signed midfielder Aaron Mooy on a three-year-deal from Manchester City for a club record fee.
The deal is worth £8 million and additional clauses could see it rise to £10 million. The club further confirmed that they have an option to extend the contract by an additional year.

The 26-year joined Huddersfield last season, on loan from Manchester City and was a key figure for the club as they earned promotion to the Premier League for the first time, scoring four goals and grabbing seven assists.

Speaking about the new signing, manager David Wagner said:
“Everybody who has watched our team in our promotion season knows how huge it is to have Aaron back at the Club as we enter the Premier League for the first time. I’m sure our fans will be very happy to see him back!”
“As I said many times last season, Aaron was right at the heart of our team. When he played well, we usually played well – and won!”
Mooy has 28 international cap for the Australian national and has scored six goals so far.
Huddersfield further confirmed that no work permit will be required for Mooy as he holds a Dutch passport through his mother’s heritage.
