Bayern Munich unveil their new away kit for the 2017-18 season
Bayern Munich have unveiled their new away kit for the 2017-18 season. The kit has been designed by Adidas and pays tribute to the successful side of the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons respectively.
The kit is dominantly navy blue in colour with navy blue shorts and socks with red trim.
So, how do you like the new #FCBayern away kit? ?

The new strip including a broad red band across the chest and the club’s T-Mobile logo inside the large loop. In keeping up with the home kit, the neckline contains a simple but smart V-collar.
The club motto ‘Mia san mia’ – the Bavarian variation which loosely translates to ‘We are who we are’ – is knitted at the back of the collar. Above the club crest, four stars are knitted to denote the club’s European Cup record.
During the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons, Bayern used a similar strip and won the DFB-Pokal Cup in the first of those campaigns before winning their 15th Bundesliga league title the following year. Lothar Matthäus, Stefan Effenberg and Mehmet Scholl were all part of the campaign.

Javi Martínez, Thomas Müller and Renato Sanches modelled the new kit.
The away kit keeps up with Bayern’s new home kit, which is a throwback to the strip worn by the dominant side of the 1970s.
