U21 EURO Championship: Germany to Face Spain in the finals

U21 EURO Championship is nearing its final phase as Germany and Spain marched on to the finals of the competition. In the exciting semi finals of the championship Germany defeated England on penalties meanwhile Spain overpowered Italian side to reach the final stage of the tournament.

In the first semi finals of the competition Germany emerged victorious, beating England on penalties for a score 4-3. Nathan Redmond and Tammy Abraham penalty kick efforts were saved by German keeper. The full time score was 2-2, no further goals were scored in extra-time. Tammy Abraham and Leicester city winger Demarai Gray scored for England, while Davie Selke and Felix Platte were the Scorers for German side.

In the second semi final game of the tournament held today, Spanish side defeated 5 time champions Italy for a score of 3-1 to make it to the finals. Athletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez scored a sensational hat-trick to help his side to book their final berth. Federico Bernardeschi scored the only goal for the Azzurri’s.

The champions of Europe will be decide on July 1st as four time champion Spain takes on Germany. It will be an exciting game to watch out for.
