Bodyline SC thrashes Rahul FC in WIFA Women’s Champions League by a double digital margin
The Women’s Champions League by Western India Football Association is in full flow at Mumbai. The initiative today reaches the fourth day and the competition is seemingly getting tighter and more interesting with each passing day.
But in every league or competition there is always a team which just overpowers the rest and steam-rolls their opponents. The performances by Mumbai based Bodyline SC is gaining such prominence with every passing match. Previously, United Poona SA from Pune and Poddar International from Kolhapur fell prey to the Bodyline girls as they got humbled by margins of 7 goals!
This time around they went onto the green of the Cooperage Stadium to lock horns with Rahul FC. But there was no upset today as Bodyline has thrashed their opponents by 10-0 in today’s Group A encounter.
Bodyline was dominant throughout the match and took a comprehensive 5 goals lead in half-time putting the tie pretty much beyond the reach of Rahul FC. In the second half, the girls just kept their momentum intact and doubled their lead by the time the referee blew the final whistle!
With today’s comprehensive victory, Bodyline SC remain unbeaten in Group A as the Bandra League Champions have won against all of their three opponents in the group, that to with astounding margins, setting a statement for the rest.
