Fabinho set to become United’s second signing
Manchester united have reached an agreement to sign As Monaco’s Fabinho.
Reports in Italy claims that Jose Mourinho has almost caught a second bird in the net as his club Manchester United reached agreement with As Monaco’s starlet Fabinho.
According to Corriera Dello Sport, the deal is of €35m(£30.8m) with €5m as add-ons. After signing Benfica’s defender Victor Lindelof, Fabinho may arrive in Old Trafford as a strong central midfielder.
Fabinho was hugely linked with the English club previously, begining of this month but his speculation was cool down. But recently he is in the wanting list after contributing a lot in Monaco’s win of the French Ligue title dethroning Paris Saint Germain reign in the country and also helping his team to reach the semi-finals of Champions league. Fabinho put strength in his midfield role after Leonardo Jardim, Monaco’s coach, transformed him from a right back. He with Bernardo silva established a fantastic communication settling the ground for the Champions.
Mourinho likes the lad and clearly in desire to get him in Manchester United shirt. Fabinho’s choice is of the reason that he can be a perfect replacement for long stand Michael Carrick. He can be operation in that specified area and can make up the most of the attack required. Also he will get companion of more class than his Monaco team mates.
But his defensive attitute will allow Pogba and Herreira to move forward. Also he has got the capabilites to play as a right back, his former position. With all this, it is quite obivious that he can be a perfect man in the midfield maintaining stability in attack as well as in the defence if only he can maintain the pace of English football. Only wait is that if he makes personal attempt to leave the French club as he is very much tempted by the offer given to him.
