Wolves launch their new home kit in space
Yes, you heard it right. Wolves have indeed launched their new home kit in space!
Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers have done what no other championship side have done before – launch their kit in space.
Wolves released a video on their official YouTube channel where the new home shirt was seen being propelled into the stratosphere. The kit was launched from a suburban park but a brief black cloudy sky threatened to abort the mission. However, the unveiling was successful after it completed its 36.7 kilometre journey.
Designed by Puma and sponsored by The Money Shop, the new kit consists of the traditional gold shirt, black shorts and black socks. It is made from a lightweight polyester fabric that uses the latest moisture wicking technology. The kit features a stylish ribbed collar and single button plaque. The Puma ascension stripe graphic features down the raglan sleeve, and the shirt also has an underarm mesh panel, and drop hem.

The shorts are manufactured from a functional fabric for improved fit and comfort. The Puma graphic stripe features down the side of the shorts in gold, and the Puma cat and Wolves official club crest also feature on these new shorts.
The socks have a plain kit leg, with ankle support and feature a ribbed contrast black turn over. The word Wolves and the Puma cat logo have been incorporated into the design.
The new kit is currently available online and can also be bought at the Molineux Megastore.
The club further confirmed that the shirt sent into space was a ‘mini-kit’ with an adult-sized sponsor and not representative of actual proportions.
