Manchester City finalising move for Mexican winger
Manchester City are marching towards securing the services of Mexican winger Hirving “Chucky” Lozano.
Lozano is a regular member of Mexican club CF Pachuca and Mexican national team. Known for his dribbling and tricky pace, Lozano has scored 30 goals in his last 85 matches for the club across all competitions.
Earlier reports broke out that Lozano signed for Manchester City after confirmation made by former Mexican national team coach Miguel Herrera. Both the player and Pachuca denied any such agreement.

Now, Sky Sports reports that Manchester City are very close to secure Lozano’s signature on a permanent basis. Chucky, as he is fondly called, would probably cost City around €20 million to €22 million and is expected to be immediately sent on loan to PSV Eindhoven for two years.
Snapping up young players across the globe cheaply and sending them on loan is a new project of City that gained momentum under Pep Guardiola. City hope in near future these youngsters could become first-team material at City or they would be permanently sold for some hefty profit.
With the host of attacking talents at City, the 21-year-old is in no way expected to get first-team chance in the current scenario. So, it would be better for him to show his calibre in Europe by making a statement at the Eredivisie side.
