Victor Lindelof all set to join Manchester United
Victor Lindelof is all set to join Premier League giants Manchester United, according to reports in Portugal.
The Benfica star, 22, was on international duty, featuring in Sweden’s 2-1 win over France on Saturday and hence he didn’t wanted to disrupt his performance for that game by signing the deal beforehand.
Leading Portuguese sports newspaper Record reported that a deal for Lindelof is all but done, with the Benfica centre-back expected to join Manchester United on Wednesday.
Manchester United have agreed a €40m transfer fee with Benfica. The first €35m of that fee will be paid up front and the remaining €5m will depend on performance related target.
The Swedish international has long been linked to a Manchester United move. The centre-back almost moved to Old Trafford in January but Jose Mourinho decided to wait until summer to sign him.
