FC Pune City’s Corporate Super Cup reaches its last four

The second edition of Corporate Super Cup at Pune has reached its last rounds, as the semi-finalists of the tournament initiated by ISL franchise FC Pune City get decided. Corporate Super Cup is a part of FC Pune City’s ‘Forces of Football’ initiative.

The tournament this year started back on 29th April and the matches had been scheduled to take place on weekends as all the participants were employees of several corporate football agencies.

On the inauguration ceremony of the second edition of CSC, Gaurav Modwel, the CEO of FC Pune City said,”After successfully conducting the inaugural edition of the Corporate Super Cup in 2016, FC Pune City continue to build it’s commitment to build on this initiative to create a larger fan base and make football the go to sport for Pune based corporates too.”

The 11-a-side tournament this year attracted big names of the corporate world like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Convergys, HSBC, Vodafone, Sunguard Availability Services, ZS Associates among others. Dheeraj Reality are the main sponsor of this edition while Pune-Hinjewadi, Radison Blu, Voler Cars and Adidas are on the board of partners as co-sponsors.

After several matches, the last four of the tournament gets decided. The Semi-finalists are:

●Capgemini
●Tech Mahindra

FC Pune City Co-owner and film-artist Hrithik Roshan said,”We believe that football fans are not just people who watch football but also people who love the sport and wish to play some form or the other.
