The opponents of Bengaluru FC in AFC Cup knockouts has been declared
The opponents for India’s Bengaluru FC in the AFC Cup knockouts has been decided. The franchise team from Karnataka will face 4.25 Sports Club from DPR Korea in the Inter Zone Semi-final 2.
BFC booked their place in the knockouts after a narrow sole goal victory over Maziya SC of Maldives on the last day of the group stages.
The draws were deeply anticipated since and the opponents will surely raise some eyebrows in the Bengaluru camp.
4.25 SC is also known as April 25 Sports Club which is a club situated in the capital city of Pyongyang. The club established in 1949 derives it’s name from the Military foundation day of DPR Korea and is owned by Korean People’s Army.
The first leg of the Inter-zone SF will be played at Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, while the second leg will take place on 13th September in Pyongyang.
