Arsenal signed Schalke Left Back on a Long term deal
Arsenal have announced the signing of Left Back Sead Kolasinac from Schalke on a free transfer.
Arsenal won the race to sign Kolasinac despite interests from AC Milan and Everton.
The Bosnia-Herzegovina International, 23, will be Arsenal player officially on 1st July when the transfer windows open in the summer.
“Subject to the completion of all regulatory processes, the defender will start pre-season training in July,”
said an Arsenal’s Official Twitter Account.
Schalke has confirmed that Arsenal have signed the defender on a long term contract which runs until 2022.
Kolasinac will provide competition for Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs, whose futures are in doubt.
Kolasinac helped Schalke finish 10th in the Bundesliga last season, while they reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League where they were knocked out by beaten finalists Ajax.
