Radamel Falcao extends his contract with AS Monaco until 2020
Radamel Falcao has signed a new two-year contract with AS Monaco that will keeping him at the club until June 30, 2020. The new contract is an extension to the five-year deal Falcao signed when he arrived at Monaco from Atlético Madrid in 2013.

The 31-year-old had a remarkable 2016-17 season in which he was given the captain’s armband by manager Leonardo Jardim and helped the club in winning its first Ligue 1 title in 17 years after returning fromtwo disappointing loan spell at Manchester United and Chelsea respectively.
Falcao scored a whooping 30 goals in all competitions and recorded 6 assists as Les Monégasques also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.

After signing the new deal, Falcao told the club’s official website:

Monaco’s vice-president Vadim Vasilyev was in a jubiliant mood and added:
“I am very happy that Falcao has extended his contract with the club. I have always said that he is one of the best strikers in world football and this season he has proven that his talent is intact,”
