Barcelona’s goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegan to extend his current contract at the club till 2022.

Barcelona’s current number 1 keeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegan will officially extend his contract on 30th May 2017 to stay at Camp Nou until 2022.

The Spanish club has officially announced the contract extension on their Twitter account on Monday morning. His new contract will keep him with the Catalan giants until 30 June 2022 and his buyout clause has been increased to 180 million euros.

The German keeper Ter Stegan was bought by Barcelona from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach. He went on to play 93 games for Barcelona overall & has conceded 90 goals, he won 71 matches, drew 10 & lost 12 for them.

Marc-Andre Ter Stegan has won 9 trophies in 3 seasons at Barcelona which consists of 2 LaLiga titles, 3 Copa del Rey’s, 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 Spanish Super Cup and 1 European Super Cup.

He has become one of the best in his position currently and his fellow teammate Jasper Cillesen doesn’t get a nod over him for the same.
