Bernardo Silva is also amazed by the signing as he states
“It feels great. To be honest I’m now at one of the best teams in the world. To be part of this club and to have this opportunity is great”.

He also has a high regard for Pep Guardiola and when asked about the opportunity to work with him, he said:
“Of course when you have the opportunity of being trained by Guardiola, you don’t say no. As we all know, what he did in Barcelona and Bayern Munich was amazing and we expect also here that he will win titles. It’s great to be working with him and to have this opportunity.”
So City kicks off transfer window with a bang and they are also very close to signing Kyle Walker from Tottenham and are also interested in Monaco’s Benjamin Mendy.
Pep and City have started recruiting players as the club already informed that players such as Gael Clichy, Jesus Navas, Bacary Sagna and Willy Caballero will leave the club on free transfers this summer.
So it will be a very busy transfer window for City and Pep with arrivals and departures of several players. So only time will tell that who else will join the Citizens this summer.
