Cristiano Ronaldo becomes the most prolific goalscorer in the history of Europe
The Los Blancos star has achieved this unique feat after scoring against Celta Vigo.
The previous record was held by Spurs legend Jimmy Greaves who had 366 goals to his name but Ronaldo broke his record and scored his 368th league goal against Celta Vigo on Wednesday.
Ronaldo scored twice in the 10th minute and on the 48th minute to help his team one step closer to conquer La Liga title and set a record of 368 goals in Europe.
The Portuguese legend has established himself as one of the greatest goal-scorers of all time and he is above his arch rival Lionel Messi on this list, leading by 22 goals.
But the Portuguese star is now in his thirties and is not getting any younger. Throughout the first half of this campaign he suffered heavy criticisms as he seemingly lacked his agility and precision, two traits which have become hallmarks of him. But he slowly gained the momentum and has returned to his lethal best as the season has reached its business end.
With no hints of retirement, one can only wonder how many more this player will score in his career, but one thing is for sure, many records are there waiting to be broken.
