Impressive performances for the Hammers has attracted suitors for Manuel Lanzini
Manuel Lanzini’s form for West Ham this season has attracted interest from a lot of Premier League clubs.
The River Plate youth product was underwhelming in his 1st season in London. But the Argentine turned out to be a late bloomer as he has become one of the standout players for the Hammers this season.
With Payet’s departure to Marseille, Lanzini had big boots to fill and the Argentine did not let anyone down. His impressive performances this season have attracted interest from Premier League clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham.
All of these clubs are keeping a close eye on the playmaker, and hence West Ham has set a £30 million price tag on their main man.
Liverpool tried to sign Lanzini earlier when he penned down a permanent deal with the Hammers last season and they have re-ignited their interest. Whereas reports suggest that Arsenal and Spurs had also made contact regarding a move.
Everton are keen on signing the playmaker as Ronald Koeman seeing him as a perfect replacement for Ross Barkley, as the England international has not signed a new contract with the Toffees.
Lanzini was signed on loan from Al Jazira in 2015 before impressing in the Premier League and being snapped up permanently for a dirt cheap £9.4million in 2016.
West Ham obviously doesn’t want to sell their valuable asset and will offer him new contract to keep him away from the suitors.
With 8 goals and 2 assists, the Argentine has been in sublime form and only time will tell whether he will commit his future with West Ham or settle elsewhere.
