The Giallorossi were very dominant against Ac Milan as they won 4-1 to strengthen their position at the 2nd place whereas Napoli are just 1 point behind at 3rd position. Luciano Spalletti’s future is in doubt with the club after some recent comments he made regarding not playing Francesco Totti, who will be retiring at the end of the season. If they have to solidify their 2nd position and drag the title race they need to forget all the off-field speculations and only concentrate on the upcoming game.
Roma have some serious concerns ahead of this game, with Edin Dzeko set to miss out through injury. Kevin Strootman is suspended for this clash, leaving them without two important stars.
The Bianconeri were triumphant over Monaco in both legs which allowed them to secure a place for the Champiuons League final in Cardiff against the Los Blancos.
Allegri’s men have a very busy week ahead. Following this game, the Coppa Italia final is next, and a tantalizing tie against Lazio awaits. Keeping that in mind, it will be very interesting to see how Allegri manages his squad, but he likely will play his strongest starting XI in order to seal the Scudetto and put one foot forward for the Treble that Juventus are chasing this season.
Juventus are without Daniele Rugani and Sami Khedira through injury, but they shouldn’t make too many changes from the side which beat Monaco on Tuesday.
