Marc Bartra returns to Dortmund training
Marc Bartra has finally returned to training of Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday after almost a month.
All the Dortmund players and coaching staffs welcomed him and the players were also seen taking selfie with the defender.
It was really an emotional comeback by the Spanish international especially after the series of events he had to go through.
Bartra tweeted,”I’ve been looking forward to this moment for weeks! So happy to be here today. Can’t wait to compete again next to my teammates!!!C’mon!!”
Bartra had to undergo surgery in his right palm and wrist after the explosions in the Borussia Dortmund team bus before the first leg of UCL last eight match between Dortmund and Monaco back on 11th April. The centre-back was the only team member who was seriously injured and had to remain hospitalised.
Later, the investigation revealed that it was caused by the explosion of three devices containing some metallic pieces which were purposefully set in the team bus. A person was arrested who is thought to be behind this nuisance. He is reportedly a stockbroker who would have been profited had the value of the share of the club fallen.
Marca Bartra although has managed to overcome all these negativities and made a return to training much to the joy of the whole football fraternity.
Tuchel’s men have two matches remaining in Bundesliga this season and is also having the DFB Pokal final against Eintracht Frankfurt on 27th May.
