Manchester City eyeing a potential swoop for Benjamin Henrichs
Man City are in advanced talks to sign the young German full-back Benjamin Henrichs.
City are reportedly chasing the signature of the 20-year-old prospect who has £18 to £20 million price tag on his head, who is also wanted by the German giants Bayern Munich.
The pacy German also has the ability to play forward as a winger in both the flanks.He also featured in the Champions League clash against Spurs at Wembley and displayed a Man of the match performance in a 1-0 win for the young Leverkusen side.
With City defenders Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy all on the wrong side of 30, Henrichs provides to be a good option for City in the long run.
But Pep Guardiola’s City faces a tough competition from Bayern Munich who are also in the race for his signature. They are searching for Phillip Lahm’s like to like replacement at Right Back and Henrichs surely fits the bill.
