Schalke 04 vs RB Leipzig(1:1)

RB Leipzig’s slim hopes of winning the Bundesliga title were dealt a blow as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Schalke.

RB Leipzig failed to take their chance to close in on Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar’s second-half equaliser held them to a 1-1 draw at Gelsenkirchen. Bernardo sent in a dangerous cross and Timo Werner beat goalkeeper Ralph Fahrmann with a fine header to open the scoring inside 14 minutes, his 17th league goal of the season.Schalke refused to throw in the towel, though, and Huntelaar restored parity early in the second half, heading home from close range after a cross from Daniel Caligiuri for his first Bundesliga goal since last September.

Freiburg Vs Bayer Leverkusen (2-1)

SC Freiburg continues their impressive season with a tough but very important win against mighty Leverkusen. The Breisgau-Brasilianeri started the game very well scoring a goal in the first 11’ via Petersen. The visitors was also able to score the equalizer in the 61st minute with German youngster Kevin Volland but the game winner came in the 88st minute when P. Stenzel put Freiburg on the verge of a huge victory. Freiburg are now in 6th position with 44 points and the Europa League qualification is getting closer and closer.

Bayern Vs Mainz (2:2)

Bayern Munich capped a bad week by opening the door further for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga title race as the champions were held to a 2-2 home draw by Mainz.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men suffered an exit from the Champions League at the quarter-final stage in midweek, losing 6-3 on aggregate to Real Madrid in controversial circumstances.The hosts appeared to have a Champions League hangover when Mainz took the lead in the third minute through Bojan Krkic, his first goal since joining on loan from Stoke City. Gladbach V Dortmund (2:3)

Franckfurt VS Augsburg (3:1)

Franckfurt came into this match looking to make some progress before DFB pokal semifinal against Borrusia Monchengladbach. J. Gouweleeuw put an early pressure on the host at 9 min.After conceeding this goal Frankfurt hit back in the game but their attack continously hindered by Augsburg defense. Finally SGE were able to break the Bavarian club’s defense at 78 min when Fabian equalized. After equalizing, SGE started to put more pressure on Augsburg defense. In 87 min Fabian again scored a goal to make a 2:1 lead for Frankfurt. In injury time Rebić (90’+) made the scoreline 3:1 for Kovac’s men. After this victory SGE are now at 9th position with 41 points while augsburg are now at 16th position.

Hamburger Vs Darmstadt (1:0)

Relegation battlers Darmstadt snatch 3 crucial points from Hamburger in their away match.Both teams played extremely well in the first half but score was 0:0 till the 1st half. Goals from Sulu (51′), F. Platte( 53′) gave a 2:0 lead to the visitors at Imtech Arena.The visitors put pressure on Hamburger’s defense several times in the 2nd half.In injury time darmstadt defender F. Holland’s own goal made a consolation to the host side.After losing thois match Hamburger SV are now at 15th position with 33 points while darmstadt are still at 18th position with 21 points.

Hertha Berlin V Wolfsburg (1-0)

Hertha Berlin Sporting club used their extra games played to leap above Freiburg in the table and put themselves in the automatic Europa League qualifying position, perhaps momentarily. After a ponderous first half the game finally came alive not long into the second period when V. Ibišević (59′) scored a goal at 59 min. After conceeding goal A. Jonker’s side attacked several times in Hertha defense but failed to equalize. After this win Hertha are now at 5th position while Wolfsburg still at 14th position with 33 points.

Ingolstadt Vs Bremen (2-4)

A. Nouri has changed Werder Bremen after winter season taking over as a manager.German young striker Max Kruse scored four goals against relegation battlers Ingolstadt in their away game at Audi-Sportpark. Ingolstadt’s D. Lezcano put an early pressure on visitors at 32 minutes while max kruse equilize before 1st half.In 2nd half P. Groß’s 62nd min goal made a 2-1 lead for the home side. After trailing 2:1,the visitors jumped up to the Ingolstadt’s defense. TSG Hoffenheim missed 3rd postion after losing their away game against mighty Koln. K. Demirbay’s equalizer in injury time helped to secure 1 point from the away game. In the 1st half both teams played extremely well but the score was 0:0 ay half time. At 58th min Koln’s L. Bittencourt’s goal made a 1:0 lead for home side.After this game TSG are now at 4th position with 55 points,1pt less than bvb while koln are now at 8th position with 41 pts.
