De Gea shown green signal by United authority to proceed on a move to Madrid
Manchester United will allow David De Gea to leave the club this summer.
Premier League giants Manchester United will allow their number one goalkeeper David De Gea to leave the club after a strong interest from Real Madrid.
Real Madrid has been keeping an eye on the United goalkeeper for a long time and has already decided De Gea as one of their top targets this summer. They have made multiple attempts previously to sign the Spanish shot stopper but has not succeeded.
In 2016 Summer window Real was inch close to sign him but the paperwork was not finished before the deadline. But now things has changed and De Gea is also in great form.
Accorrding to Spanish radio station Onda Cero, De Gea’s agent was informed that he can move ahead and can talk with Los Blocos over a potential transfer by Manchester United authority.
De Gea is reported to be unhappy at Manchester United and is still has no guarentee a Champions League spot. Meanwhile Real has to pay atleast £60m to sign him from United and Mourinhno can use this huge sum to bolster his side in the upcoming transfer window.
De Gea is one the few world-class players at the club, he has rised like a Phoenix as once he was considered to be too weak for the Premier League. But the former Atletico De Madrid custodian improved himself with hard work to become one of the best among the current crop of goalkeepers in the world.
Real currently has Navas and Kiko Casilla but Zidane is not confident with the talent at his disposal and longevity is also another issue tobe ponder upon. So, the Los Blancos are looking forward to land a world class No 1 and the 26-year-old Spanish international would be a perfect fit for that purpose.
