Zlatan’s injury added to United’s woes
Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out for nine months after suffering a brutal ligament injury.
Ander Herrera broke this news to the press as Zlatan revealed the depth of his injury to the squad during a team meeting. Zlatan was injured during United’s Europa League tie against Anderlecht on Friday and left the field increasing the anxieties of united fans.
Ander Herrera revealed the intensity of the injury to the press on Monday during a press conference, he told that the 35- year-old Swedish forward will be out for at least nine months and his injury is a big blow to the team. This injury could end his United career as the red devils won’t be offering a contract extension and will be allowing Zlatan to leave.
“He wished us only good luck with the rest of the season. He has an incredible mentality and a great physique. I have never seen such a good football body. I am quite sure he will be back with a bang” – said Ander Herrera.
Zlatan played a major role in Manchester United’s Europa League success as they have reached the Semi-finals and United would start by a step back without their top scorer.
He is United’s target man and United has to work harder without him as Jose Mourinho has to secure a top four spot which would be harder without Zlatan.
