West Bromwich Albion v Liverpool Match preview
After grinding out a win at Stoke City, Jurgen Klopp’s team’s task will be the same at the Hawthorns on Sunday as they push for a top-four finish. Liverpool will look to continue their push to qualify for next season’s Champions League when they visit West Brom at the Hawthorns on Sunday.
Sitting safely in mid-table, the Baggies have lost four of their past six but have beaten Arsenal and drawn with Manchester United in the other two.
A Champions League place next season is very much in Liverpool’s hands, but after dropping points against Bournemouth and the scare last time out at Stoke nobody at Anfield is counting any chickens. That is probably a good mindset for a visit to The Hawthorns, where Tony Pulis’s side easily duffed up Arsenal last month and will be sure to test the Merseysiders’ defensive resolve.

West Bromwich Albion
Tony Pulis has revealed he has a couple of unnamed players dealing with bruises but otherwise has a full complement to choose from.
James McClean and Chris Brunt, on the left wing and in central midfield respectively, are the most likely players to come into the side that lost 1-0 to Southampton.
Potential starting XI: Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Evans, Nyom; Fletcher, Livermore, Morrison; Chadli, Rondon, Phillips.
Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino are expected to return to the starting lineup having come on as substitutes against Stoke, but Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana remain sidelined.
Those two should return by the end of the month but it is feared Sadio Mane will miss the rest of the season, and Danny Ings will not play again this term.
Potential starting XI: Mignolet; Lovren, Matip, Klavan; Clyne, Can, Wijnaldum, Milner; Firmino, Sturridge, Coutinho.
