As usual because of his eye catching performance, European giants are after him. Specially Manchester united is very much interested in him & they have offered 60m£ to the Ligue 1 club although they have announced that they wont sell Bernardo below 44 m£.

Manchester City also joined the race with United as City boss Pep Guardiola is quite impressed by the playing style of Silva after their recent clash against Monaco in UCL pre quarters.

According to Marca, Real Madrid have also joined the tug of war as Los Blancos are looking forward to pluck the Les Monegasques man as they really need a replacement of James Rodriguez who will probably leave the European champions next season. Bayern München is also one of the favourites in the race as they astonishingly made a huge 80m£ bid on the Monaco midfield general as they are looking for someone who will fulfill the vacant place of Xabi Alonso.

On his transfer rumours Bernardo Silva told The Times: “Yes I heard [the reports]. I have no idea if it’s true or not.

“Of course it’s nice to be associated with that kind of club but I haven’t thought a lot about it.
“One day I would like to play in England or Spain, in one of the best leagues in the world, but for now I’m very happy here”

On this topic vice president of Monaco told Times that “Yes, yes [there have been inquiries for Bernardo Silva]. I really don’t want to go into details, but for all our major players, we do have interest from major European clubs.”

“This is not the right time to talk about it. Let’s finish the season and then we can look at our project for next season. Me, the coach and the players are focused on this season.”-Vasim Vasilyev.

There is no doubt that top European clubs are desperate to sign this highly rated Portuguese medio but still it would be down to Silva to choose his next destination, although he may decide to stay in France.
