Absolute shocker.Full time: Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace.Really it was one of the shocks of the season as a brave and stubborn Crystal Palace defeats table toppers Chelsea in their own backyard.

Antonio Conte’s side had won their past 10 league games at Stamford Bridge and had not lost there in any competition since 16 September, but sadly the run was ended this afternoon.

The Blues made a very strong start and they even took the lead after five minutes when Cesc Fabregas tapped in Eden Hazard’s skilfull cross, but they were quickly behind when Wilfried Zaha turned to fire home from the edge of the box with a fine solo finish and, seconds later, set up Christian Benteke from a swift Palace counter attack who went on to put Palace ahead with a delicate chip over Courtois.

After Palace took the lead Chelsea completely went on to dominate the game but to no avail they coundnt find way past a reselient and stubborn Palace defence.

Chelsea should have got a penalty in the first half after Andros Townsend clearly used his hand to clear Pedro’s shot on target but referee, Craig Pawson remain unmoved nd he made another error in the 2nd half by not sending off Palace midfielder Luka Milivojevic for his 2nd yellow card offence.

Chelsea piled on the pressure in the 2nd half but couldn’t find no way past Eagles keeper Wayne Hennessey, who made 11 saves in total to ensure his side won a fourth successive game.

Chelsea 1-2 Crystal Palace

Chelsea’s lead is now cut short to 7 points after Tottenham won 2-0 on the road against Burnley.

Chelsea’s loss have now given fresh hope to their title rivals of chasing them down but Chelsea’s comebacks from losses this season had been wonderful.

In other news,a boring Man Utd played out yet another draw. This time 0-0 against West Brom at home which extends their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 19 games.
