Bayern have won 13 of their 15 competitive games against Fc Augsburg. They have lost twice and both times the title was already in Bayern’s grasp. Augsburg have failed to score more than once in any of the matches and have scored only 8 goals in total. Bayern have beaten Augsburg twice 3-1 in October 2016 once in Augsburg and once in DFB Cup match in Allianz Arena. So the prospect of fifth away win for the season that also in the League leaders den looks daunting but certainly not impossible as Augsburg have won in the Allianz Arena as recently as 2015 when Raul Bobadilla scored the only goal that day.
FC Bayern are unbeaten at home this season in the Allianz Arena. They have only lost 2 games out their last 48 home league games but one of the did came against Augsburg.
The two Bavarian clubs have shown no love for each other and in all of their matches played, there never has been a game that had ended in a draw. Augsburg left-back Konstantinos Stafylidis has scored 4 goals this season and is a threat on the left flank.
Robert Lewandowski is in fine form and cant stop scoring. The Polish striker has netted 21 goals in 25 appearances in Bundesliga and also has 2 assists to complement it. He has 13 goals in 11 matches against Augsburg.
