Leonardo Jardim- Will he follow Arsene Wenger’s footsteps?

Arsene Wenger managed both Monaco and Arsenal (still managing) in his career. Will Leonardo Jardim do the same?

AS Monaco Boss Leonardo Jardim is heavily linked with a move away from Monaco to Arsenal. Arsene Wenger’s contract with Arsenal expires after the end of this season and it is most likely that Arsenal will not renew Wenger’s contract. But Jardim has told that his main focus is on Monaco at this moment and is not concerned with this rumour.

“There are a lot of maybes in football and that does not count for me”, he told Portuguese outlet O Jogo.”What counts is the French championship and the conviction that something good can happen this season. That’s what we need to be focused on.”

“News is assumptions,Ideas.”[I] Do not know.”I am so focused on Monaco, especially at this stage, that I do not even think about the future.”I have two years of contract and I feel good. I do not know if I’m going to the [Sir Alex] Ferguson of Monaco.”

Leonardo Jardin is yet to win a silverware as Monaco boss but he could win trophy this season as his side sits at the top of Ligue 1 table and his side is through to the quarter-final of both Coupe De France and UCL.
