Wilshere on Rossoneri radar
Jack Wilshere seeking AC Milan move to revitalise his career
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is eyeing a move away from The Emirates with AC Milan are reported to be his preferred destination.
The 25-year-old England International started his career brightly at Arsenal and instantly became a fan favourite. But a series of lengthy injuries halted his progress and finally he was loaned out to Bournemouth this season.
He delivered some brilliant performances for the Cherries at the start of the season but a string of poor performances has forced Eddie Howe to make him sit on the substitute bench a couple of times recently.
Wilshere’s contract with Arsenal is set to be expired in June 2018 and he has no desire to extend his contract if Arsene Wenger remains at the helm of the Gunners beyond this season.
Even the chances of him remaining at Vitality Stadium seem bleak.
Now Daily Mail claims that Wilshere is considering plying his trade at AC Milan after discussion with David Beckham who previously went through two successful loan spells at the San Siro based club. Joe Hart’s recent move to Torino is also said to have played a major impact in taking such a decision.
Watford, Crystal Palace, Roma and Benfica are also reportedly considering making offers for Wilshere who has appeared 22 times this season for Cherries.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, a long time admirer of Wilshere has also been keeping a close eye on his progress throughout this season. But The Express claims Manchester City have finally cooled their interest on Wilshere as Pep isn’t totally convinced that Wilshere has coped up with his fitness issues completely.
The Rossoneri have previously expressed their admiration of Wilshere and Wilshere’s move to Milan seems to be the perfect scenario for both the parties at the moment.
