Turkish hackers threaten to wipe out data from iPhone’s iCloud storage.

A group of Turkish hackers who call themselves as ‘Turkish Crime Family’ is asking for a huge sum in exchange for data’s of iCloud data.

iCloud is the place where Apple devices store all data and all Apple devices are Synchronised to iCloud,  the information stored include your personal data like photos, Video, passwords and all sensitive information.

Hackers were able to get into the server and is now threatening that they will delete all data unless Apple pays them $75,000 in Bitcoin or $100,000 worth of iTunes gift cards.

Apple has denied the security issue and said that all their service are safe but the hackers provided screenshots of alleged emails between the group and members of Apple’s security team as evidence and threatened to reset iCloud accounts.

Reacting to the threat Apple released a statement on Wednesday, “There have not been any breaches in any of Apple’s systems including iCloud and Apple ID. The alleged list of email addresses and passwords appears to have been obtained from previously compromised third-party services.”
